With the massive shift from an entire “paper-driven” environment to “electronic-driven” environment, the management of electronic records has emerged as a challenge to most secretaries.

The Secretary’s ability to store and retrieve information is vital for efficiency and continued high performance in the workplace. If the secretary is unable to quickly access information from other departments or his/her own desk, valuable time and energy may be wasted as he/she searches for documents and attempts to duplicate lost work.
